About · Meet Your Sommelier

Qiana Taylor, your guide to the glass.

An experienced, down-to-earth sommelier who believes wine is meant to be shared, not gatekept — and that the best pour is the one enjoyed in good company.

Qiana Taylor is a passionate wine educator, consultant, and tasting host dedicated to making the world of wine approachable, engaging, and memorable for enthusiasts of all experience levels. With a strong foundation in wine education and sensory evaluation, she combines technical expertise with a welcoming teaching style that inspires confidence and curiosity.

Living in Vin grew out of that mission — not a wine club, not a store, but a journey. Somewhere between the vineyard and your table, most of the wonder gets lost in jargon and price tags. Qiana's work is to give it back to you.

Tastings, thoughtfully curated

As a wine educator, Qiana leads engaging tastings for private parties, corporate events, and special occasions — experiences that are as educational as they are enjoyable. Each is thoughtfully curated to introduce guests to diverse wine regions, grape varieties, food pairings, and the stories behind every bottle.

Expect warmth before expertise. She meets every guest exactly where they are, whether that's a first tentative sip or a cellar built over years. The only thing ever asked of a guest is curiosity — there are no wrong questions.

She works with private collectors, businesses, and enthusiasts to build intentional collections, optimize cellar organization, and develop purchasing strategies aligned with individual tastes, goals, and budgets.

The mission in every glass

Whether she's educating a room of first-time wine drinkers, evaluating wines in international competitions, or helping clients curate exceptional collections, Qiana's mission is to cultivate confidence, appreciation, and lasting enjoyment through every glass. That mission runs through the three E's at the heart of Living in Vin — Exposure to wines you'd rarely meet on a shelf, Experience that turns them into memories, and Education that gives you the confidence to choose well on your own.
